Beautiful, functional van interiors that make every mile feel a little more like home.
About Madison
Open Road Interiors was born from a deep love of travel, creativity, and the belief that a space can completely change the way we move through the world.
After spending time in and around van life, festivals, road trips, and constantly evolving environments, I started noticing how much our surroundings impact our nervous systems, our creativity, and our ability to truly rest. So many mobile spaces felt purely functional — built for storage and survival, but missing warmth, comfort, and personality.
What started as casually helping friends style and organize their vans, transformed into something bigger. I realized I didn't just love design, I loved creating environments that helped people exhale. Spaces that felt cozy after long drives, calming after overstimulation, and actually reflective of the people living inside them.
Open Road Interiors blends earthy aesthetics, thoughtful functionality, and sensory comfort to create rolling spaces that feel lived in, personal, and restorative. Every project is designed with the belief that home is less about square footage and more about how a space makes you feel.
At the end of the day, this work is about helping people feel more connected — to themselves, to the open road, and to the life they're building along the way.

Client stories
I thought I just needed help making my van look better, but Madison completely changed the way I experience life on the road. She took a space that felt cluttered and purely functional and transformed it into somewhere I genuinely look forward to coming home to every day. Every detail feels intentional, from the storage solutions to the colors and textures she chose. My van is more organized, more peaceful, and somehow even feels bigger. Friends constantly ask who designed it, and I can't recommend Open Road Interiors enough. If you want your van to feel like a true sanctuary instead of just a vehicle, Madison is the person to call.
